Free parking, shared lounge and restaurant at Gregory House, how fancy! I even got to show off my karaoke skills. So posh.
Oh, the breakfast was just divine. I'm sorry, did I say "divine"?

The double room at Gregory House Hostel had its own private entrance, making it feel like a cozy little hideaway. Having a dining area in the room was convenient for enjoying meals without having to leave the comfort of the room. The private bathroom with a shower and bidet was a luxurious touch, ensuring a refreshing and comfortable stay. The triple room provided a private entrance, adding a sense of privacy and exclusivity to the stay. It was nice to have a seating area in the triple room, allowing for relaxation and socializing with fellow travelers. The lake views from the triple room were absolutely stunning, providing a picturesque backdrop for the stay. The dormitory room had a tiled floor, which made it easy to keep clean and fresh.
Personally, I found the triple room's lake views to be a bit overwhelming and distracting.

Delightful garden with free parking, lounge, and restaurant. Had a great time singing karaoke! So many things to rent: skis, bikes, cars. Perfect for all my adventurous and musical needs!
Oh, I just loved everything about it! Can't think of a single thing to complain about.

During my transit in Nuwara Eliya, I stayed at Gregory House Hostel. The hostel is conveniently located, with the nearest airport, Gregory Lake SPB, just 5 km away. This made it easy and quick for me to reach my accommodation after a long journey. the distance of 92 km from Nanu Oya meant that I didn't have to spend too much time on transportation to get to the hostel.
One minor suggestion I have for Gregory House Hostel is to create a wall shelf in the dorms for the upper bunk beds. This would allow guests to conveniently place their smartphones, keys, books, and other small items during the night.

We had an amazing stay at this hostel. the location was perfect, offering breathtaking views of the lake. the staff were friendly and accommodating, providing exceptional service throughout our stay. the room was clean and comfortable, with cozy bedding and a hot shower. the breakfast was delicious and filling, exceeding our expectations. the communal areas were inviting and cozy, perfect for socializing and meeting other guests. a fantastic experience!
The noise from the common room, but choosing a room upstairs would likely solve this issue.

Man konnte nichts beanstanden.
